Dr. Benedict Oluwagboyega Alabi celebrated Christmas with teeming lovers and supporters who have traveled from different Local Government areas in Osun to his Ikire Country home to celebrate the festival with him.
Politicians, Artisans, Students and Market Women were among the visitors that trooped to the house of the APC Governorship aspirant to felicitate with him.
While speaking with InsightMedia after the event, Dr. Alabi expressed his delights and appreciation to everyone that made it to his house to mark his this year’s edition of his annual Christmas celebration.
He said “This celebration is a tradition in my family. My late father started it in the year 1969 and since then, it has become a tradition for the family. In my absence or presence, we must host people here to celebrate the festival. It is a legacy if I may say.
“I want to appreciate everybody that came to be identified with me today. My political associates, daughters and sons of Ikire, lovers and supporters form virtually all the Local Governments in Osun and beyond. I say than you all.
Responding to whelther the celebration will still hold if he becomes the governor as he aspires, BOA said “it is a system that depends on the presence of nobody. I want to assure everyone that it will even makes it better”.
