Senator George Weah has won the Liberian presidential run-off which took place yesterday in Liberia. He was able to clinch the topmost executive seat of his country because he is better educated now and more politically-savvy.
Undoubtedly, he’s got the needed popularity and practical exposure. However, without the needed education and political rootedness he’d have shamefully lost his chance of being the numero uno.
Instructively, I’d always submit that footballers should find out some time out of their scarce time to obtain qualitative education. Often times, most of them go into oblivion after having a laudable football career because they have got nothing to offer outside the football world.
It is against this backdrop that the enthusiastic and mathematical Segun Odegbami comes to mind. S.O does not only have brilliant ideas with working knowledge of history, politics, sports etc. He also has a rousing oratory skills that will
irresistibly compel the soul of a stone-hearted man. This has in no small way made him relevant and placed him miles ahead of his peers.
Hone your skills, spot the fun.
Good morning.
