As Christians celebrate this year’s Easter, Dr. Benedict Olugboyega Alabi on yesterday (Wednesday) distributed food items for widows in his country home, Ikire in his quest to put smiles on their faces during the festive period.
The Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress, who give a warm welcome to the widows, advised them to be obedient and to take a cue from the lessons of Easter as they move on with their daily activities.
BOA as popularly known, described the gesture as one of the services to humanity that Osun Ajose Foundation has embarked on for almost a decade now and also promised to continue making life better for the people of the state of Osun.
According to the statement, “We are happy as we again this year 2018, organize our usual event to give our people food items for this 2018 Easter celebration. It is gratifying to note that several thousands of people have benefitted from this gesture since it started about a decade ago.
“The BOA movement will move to Modakeke and Ifetedo today (Thursday) in continuation of the programme.”
