After listening to the youths from the area, who are direct and indirect victims of the attack, Oluwole urged them to remain calm and peaceful as the ongoing wide consultations will definitely provide a way-out.

He said, “as Yoruba Youth Leader in the country and diaspora, I understand the plight of all the victims of the attack and that is what informed my trip to Abuja here as part of the wide consultation to our based elders, leaders and other stakeholders on what to do.

“The attack on the people of Kogi State is barbaric and is an indicator that nowhere is safe. But as Yoruba youths, who have been known for peace and love, we must be thoughtful in all our dealings to avoid regret.

“I want to urge everyone to remain calm and peaceful as the solution to the incessant attack us near,” he added.

Oluwole also urged the security agencies and other stakeholders to find a lasting solution to the security challenges facing the country as it has tendencies of causing ethnic chaos.
