A Chieftain Of The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers-State, Prince Awalanta Ejire has described women as the first teachers we encounter in life, as they play a significant role in enhancing the educational quality and performance of children.
In a statement made available on Thursday from his media office, Prince Ejire in affirmation said change cannot take a centre stage without women been fully involved, because they constitute a large portion of the society, whenever it their right to claim anything, they carry out such task vigorously and passionately to actualize their goals.
Prince Awalanta Ejire who was a former CTC chairman of Eleme Local Government, and currently the Prince Of Eleme Kingdom, said “women symbolises Agents of change, and they share common similarities such as; passion to be entrepreneurs, have a healthy family, and promoters of peace and progress, suffice the attributes with this year theme caption- ‘Press For Progress’.
“Today we should observe carefully the role played by women and the impact effected thus far, as we celebrate all the women who have contributed to the progress of our success in our local, state and Federal Government. So on behalf of us all, I wish our women a Happy Women’s Day “.
