The Acting President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN has sacked the Director General of Department of State Security Service, Lawal Musa Daura.

Channels television reports that the Acting President took the decision on Tuesday.

Osinbajo took the decision following the invasion of the National Assembly by the men of the agency.

In a statement released by the media aide to the acting President, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo directed Daura to handover to the most senior officer of the agency.

Several people, civil societies and groups have condemned the action of the DSS.
