The crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress in Osun State seems to be far from resolution as nine members of state working committee of the party resigned and defeated from the party.

The nine members led by the Deputy State Chairman, Alh Azeez Adesiji have decided to pinch their tenths with the former Secretary to the State government, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti who is the governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party.

The party has been engulfed in crisis for some months but climaxed during the last governorship primaries in the state.

Part of their joint letter reads, “on assumption of office, we took oath to do justice to all and not allow personal interest to interfere with our official responsibilities. Recent political developments in the state, most especially, within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has proved otherwise.”

The members that followed Adesiji are Alhaji Tajudeen Agbeti, Ex-officio, Prince Ademola Bamidele, State Auditor, Alhaji Rasheed Bakare, Assistant General Secretary, Akinola Morakinyo, State PRO, Wole Adunola, Ex-officio, Dr. Idayat Bakare, Assistant Welfare Secretary, Mrs. Ogundare Aina Afolabi, Assistant PRO and Alhaji Sikiru Karim, Assistant Treasurer.
