Former President of Ilobu National Students’ Union and Prince of Ilobu, Prince Olayinka Teslim Adeboye has declared his intentions to represent Irepodun/Orolu state constituency at the Osun State House of Assembly come 2019.
Popularly called Prince Whykay, Adeboye said his driving force is his readiness to serve the constituents and also bring the deserved development to the ancient towns that constitute the zone.
Adeboye, who is the Public Relations Officer of National Association of Osun State Students revealed this while speaking with newsmen in Ilobu, the headquarters of Irepodun local government.
He said it is time for paradigm shift in the history of the constituency and he has been nominated by the teeming youths, students, artisans, market women and elites in Ilobu, Erin-Osun and Ifon – Orolu to represent their interests and be the arrow of this unprecedented empowerment and development.
He said, “Today, the people of the Ilobu, Erin-Osun and Ifon-orolu have decided to make a paradigm shift in the history of our constituency. They have decides to support the ‘Irede De Agenda’ as they are convinced that it is the solution to the infrastructural decays, youth joblessness and general retardation that has become the symbol of out towns.
“Having being part of the community for decades, I believe I have been equipped with necessary experience, education and political acumen to move this constituency forward as I have witnessed its evolutionary trend”.
Adeboye called on the youths and artisans to see the project as their emancipation and liberation agenda as he promises to bring smiles to the faces of every constituents through better representation in the state assembly.
“I hereby call on every young person in our constituency to see the ‘Ire De’ as his or her emancipation project and be ready to fully participate in it”, he concluded.
