Former President of the Senate, David Mark and the immediate past governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswan have unanimously relinquished the control of Peoples Democratic Party in Benue state to the incumbent governor, Samuel Ortom.

The leaders stated that their decision to handover the total control of the party to Ortom who recently defected from the All Progressives Congress was informed their readiness to develop Benue state.

This was made known at the event held at new banquet hall of Benue People’s House on Monday.

“We have now handed over the party structure in Benue to Governor Samuel Ortom and have also allowed him to make some amendments to the existing exco,” Sen David Mark said.
