In furtherance to the pursuit of his gubernatorial ambition in the scheduled September 22, election, Akinbade vowed not to abandon any ongoing project embarked upon by the incumbent APC led administration in the state.

“I want to assure you that the ADC administration under my leadership, will not abandon any ongoing project embarked upon by the incumbent APC led administration. As a thoroughbred Civil Engineer,I know the cost of completing abandoned projects can be very prohibitive”

“As far as I am concerned, it is a retrogressive kind of politics which has been holding down this nation as manifested in unimaginable infrastructural decay that today dot our national life. This must stop if we must move out of the woods. By whatever definition or inclination, government is a continuum.  Government projects belong to the people and not the governor or his cabinet. Interestingly, the people outlive any administration”

“This will help to open up Osogbo and the state in general because there will be influx of investors which will ultimately lead to infrastructural developments with improved sustainable employment generation” he stressed
