Ex national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has visited his home state of Bauchi after three years away.
According to Daily Trust, former governor of Bauchi state arrived the country midweek for his daughter’s wedding which took place in Bauchi on Saturday, December 15.
The ceremony said to have been attended by his friends, political and business associates including national and state PDP bigwigs.
The former party boss was believed to have stayed in Abuja for some days and then went to Bauchi within the week for the wedding.
He had reportedly not been in the country for three years since the party lost the 2015 general elections.
Dubbed as the ‘Game Changer’ Mu’azu was the PDP chairman when the former President Goodluck Jonathan lost to incumbent, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Some PDP chieftains had accused Mu’azu of betraying the party during the polls, but he had refuted the allegations.
It will be recalled that a former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode had last year pointed at Mu’azu as one of those responsible for Jonathan’s defeat in the 2015 election.
