A flag bearer of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, for Nasarawa State governorship race Hon. Ishaq Ahmed Kana has commiserated with Alhaji Nasir Zakari, Protocol Unit of the Government House and Hon. Jameel Zakari, Commissioner for Information and Culture on the death of their father, Alhaji, Pa, Zakari Yakubu.
Also, the SDP governorship candidate condoled with Gov. Umaru Tanko Al-makura over the loss of his father in-law whose passed on at early hour of Monday.
In a condolence message release by it’s Media Office, Hon. Ishaq Ahmed Kana said “I write to convey the condolences of my party (SDP), as well as my personal commiseration to the family, over the demise of your beloved father Alhaji Zakari Yakubu who passed on Monday morning.
“My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Yakubu family at this very difficult moment of grief.
While we join you to mourn his painful departure, we are certain that you will find consolation in the fact that your precious father had lived a worthy life, and stood as beacon of fatherhood, religious devotion and community leadership.
“You all must be proud that he is leaving behind a remarkable legacy and most especially the calibre of children and grandchildren, among whom is Hon. Jameel Zakari, commissioner for information and culture, Alhaji Nasir Zakari, of the Protocol unit in the Governor office and others who are contributing immensely to the development of this State in all human endeavours.”
Hon. Kana prayed for God to receive the soul of deceased and grant the bereaved families the fortitude to bear the loss. He stated.
