A man has changed his son’s name from Muhammadu Buhari to Suleiman in Dutsinma, Katsina state.
In an elaborate event on Saturday, the man invited his family and friends to witness the renaming of his son, the man also slaughtered ram to mark the ceremony.
According to our sources, the man named his first child Muhammadu Buhari shortly after the 2015 general election so that he will be called ‘Muhammadu Buhari’ before but now he has rechanged to Suleiman.
Speaking during the event, the man said what necessitated the change of name is because he is disappointed in President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to him, he named his son Buhari hoping that President Muhammadu Buhari will change the narrative of Nigeria but things are getting worse.
