The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced postponement of the first meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) for 2020.
The meeting which was earlier slated to hold on Monday and Tuesday, January 20 and 21, 2020, respectively, will now hold on Thursday and Friday, January 23 and 24, 2020.
The apex bank disclosed this yesterday in a statement signed by the Director, Corporate Communications Department, Isaac Okorafor.
“The CBN regrets any inconvenience this change may have caused its stakeholders and the general public,” the statement said.
