The Nasarawa State government has decided to relocate the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, to Awe Local Government Area from Loko village in Nasarawa Local Government Area.
Daily Trust reports that the dethroned emir was relocated because Loko is a very remote area in the state.
Loko is a very remote area in Nasarawa State and has been considered very inferior for a well travelled former Governor of Central Bank to live, according to the Emir of Loko, Alh. Abubakar Sabo Emir of Loko.
Sabo, when asked this morning by Voice of America (Hausa) reporter on how he feels about Sanusi being exiled to his small domain, he said he wasnt sure of what to feel because this place is too interior for a widely travelled and educated person like Sanusi.
