A Canadian-based non-profit making organization, Shola Agboola Goodwill Ambassador on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 put smile on the faces of widows and aged people in Ila-Orangun, Ila local government area of Osun State by distributing relief materials to them.

The materials, which are food items, was distributed to cushion the effect of the lockdown order by declared by the state government to arrest the spread of coronavirus.

The Executive Director of the organization, Mr Shola Agboola said reaching out to the vulnerable individuals in the society at this trying time is everyone’s business in order to put smiles on everyone’s face.

Agboola added that his gesture to his people is to cushion the effect of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy of individuals and ensure they have food stuffs to feed on.

In his speech, the Orangun of Ila, Oba Wahab Oyedokun Bibiire 1 commended the gesture of the SACA, adding that the community has benefited immensely from the founder.

Oba Bibiire, who spoke through one of his chiefs, Chief Adeniyi Oyeniran, prayed for the progress of the organization and called on wealthy individuals, private establishments and government to emulate the gesture of SACA.

Among the beneficiaries who spoke with InsightMedia correspondent expressed their happiness over the items given to them.

Some explained how the lockdown in the state has inflicted sufferings on them as their children, who did feed them have not been able to go to work. They pray for the organization and urged people to emulate the gesture.
