Super Eagles player, Alex Iwobi, has finally returned to the social media platform, Instagram.
This was after he recently deleted all posts on his account following attacks targeted at him after the team’s defeat to Ivory Coast in the final of the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations.
The Fulham midfielder was a target of cyberbullying due to what Nigerians perceived as unsatisfactory midfield performance during the game.
Some Nigerians directed blame towards him, resulting in a barrage of threats and insults on his Instagram page.
In response, the 27-year-old chose to delete more than a hundred posts from his profile.
