In an effort to raise living standards at the community level and to combat the distressing effects of poverty, the “20 Voice Group” teamed up with the Osun State Government to launch a program aimed at providing essential needs directly to the people on Wednesday.
As a part of special assistance to the Governor of Osun State, this group has been pushing for impactful actions that transform the difficulties arising from a lack of basic community facilities into solutions that ensure survival.
Ahead of the Osun State Government’s plan to deploy a 200 billion infrastructural initiative under a 5-point agenda, the region has already seen significant improvements in various areas.
The collaboration between the 20 Voice Group and Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration is celebrated for its focus on “stomach infrastructure,” a strategy aimed at creating strong, independent individuals capable of managing their well-being. This initiative strives to alleviate hunger, instill positive values, and promote a peaceful, nourished, and contented society.
Expanding this generous act, the 20 Voice Group aims to reach all local governments, starting with the Osogbo and Olorunda areas, by distributing food parcels during the Ramadan iftars at Arikalam Mosque in Olorunda.
Furthermore, the group expressed their sympathies by visiting the Osogbo PDP Party Secretariat in Itaolokan to mourn the loss of the late LGEA board Chairman.
To wrap up their campaign, the 20 Voice Group participated in a Ramadan Lecture organized by the Ede South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Lukman Afolabi,Abere Sosse.
