Brighton travel to Everton in the same slot with new 31-year-old head coach Fabian Hurzeler, the youngest permanent Premier League manager in history, taking charge of his first game.
Meanwhile Man Utd will also host Liverpool in the opening month of the season and, following September’s international break, Arsenal will feature in two blockbuster clashes when the league resumes with a north London derby at Tottenham before a trip to champions Manchester City the following weekend.
