The lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency, Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi, popularly known as ‘Irekandu’, has disclosed that he’s committed to delivering excellent representation and strong legislation that would grow his constituents and the people of Osun.
This was made known by the state legislator during the 37th edition of a monthly programme of Association of Veteran Journalists, held at the Osun NUJ Council in Osogbo.
Adeyemi, while addressing veteran journalists, further disclosed that his major interest lies in the execution of his primary roles as a legislator, which are basically lawmaking, oversight functions, and engagements.
He further disclosed that he has contributed to education through the provision of scholarship grants for disadvantaged constituents and the purchase of JAMB forms, among others.
While appreciating the assembly and governor for the safe passage and accentuation of the disability bill he sponsored into law, he stated that the bull would have positive effects across the state, including the good people of Obokun constituency.
Adeyemi, who disclosed that he made grants available for women to access, added that there are some short bridges that have been fixed through his little intervention.
