Spain have defeated England 2:1 at Berlin to win the 2024 Euro championship edition in Germany.

The final encounter played at Olympics Stadium, Berlin ended in 2:1 as Spain postponed England’s hope of lifting majit trophy since 1966.

Spain dominated the game from the first minute but the first half ended goalless.

Nico Williams snatched the first less than two minutes after the replay.

Cole Palmer who was on as a substitute scored the his second international goal for England at 73rd minutes. It was a beautiful long range goal from 21 meter out.

But England fell behind again just five minutes before the normal time as Kyle Walker was caught out of position. Mikel Oryazabal, who replaced Alvaro Morata, score the winner.

Harry Kane topped the list of ineffective England stars at the final. The only impact of Jude Bellingham was his assist to Cole Palmer.
