The House of Representatives has declared the seats of Ibadan North (Oyo) and Chikun/Kajuru (Kaduna) Federal Constituencies vacant.
This followed the deaths of the lawmakers representing the Constituencies last week and this week.
Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi and Ekene Adams of Oyo North and Chikun/Kajuru died on July 10 and 16 respectively.
Reading the announcement at the Plenary on Wednesday, Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abass said the declaration is in line with constitutional provisions.
Akinremi was a member of the All Progressives Congress while Adams was of the Labour Party.
