Big Brother Naija is set to unveil a new task focused on gender equality and women’s economic empowerment.
According to a statement made available to PUNCH Online on Monday, the task titled Her Money, Her Power, is powered by The She Tank and BellaNaija as part of a campaign aimed at promoting women’s financial independence in Nigeria.
Scheduled for Monday, September 30th, the task will challenge housemates to highlight the barriers to gender equality and propose innovative solutions to enhance women’s economic empowerment.
According to the organisers, the task will feature four segments designed to encourage critical thinking and creative problem-solving. With the highest reward of the season at stake, housemates will be motivated to engage deeply with the subject matter.
Senior Campaign Advisor at The She Tank, Olalekan Obisesan, emphasised the importance of the task, stating, “The Her Money, Her Power campaign is leveraging BBNaija’s massive viewership to push crucial conversations about gender equality into the mainstream.”
Media outlets, influencers, and NOIPolls will monitor the campaign’s impact, underscoring its significance. The task is expected to be both entertaining and transformative, drawing attention to the ongoing fight for gender equality in Nigeria.
The statement noted that viewers can follow the campaign via BellaNaija and BBNaija platforms and participate in the discussion using the hashtag #HerMoneyHerPower.
