Actor Kunle Afod has rallied support for his ailing colleague, Bisola Badmus, who is battling a brain tumour.
Afod’s efforts led to a remarkable N1.3 million raised within just 24 hours, highlighting the generosity within the Nigerian film industry and among fans globally.
Known for his charitable work supporting veteran Yoruba actors, Afod visited Badmus and shared their conversation in a video on social media.
Inspired by their kindness, Kunle later returned to Bisola’s home to present the donation. Upon arrival, he was joined by fellow actors, including Kemi Korede and Foluke Daramola, among others.
“Thank you to everyone who donated and prayed for Bisola, Your kindness will never be forgotten”, they said.
