The ancient City of Modakeke in Osun State, would play host to highly influential personalities tomorrow as all arrangements have been perfected for the book launch of Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, titled Òmólúàbí Àtàtá, written in his honour by Tajudeen Akanni, a veteran broadcast journalist with Osun State Radio Broadcasting Corporation.

Among the distinguished personalities gracing the occasion are the Deputy Governor of the State of Osun, Gboyega Alabi, the Senator representing Osun West senatorial district who also doubled as the Chief Launcher, Adelere Oriolowo, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, traditional rulers, political leaders, business tycoons among many others.

In a brief chat with the author, Mr. Tajudeen Akanni, who spoke with newsmen on what informed his decision to write the book described Fatai Kolawole as an exemplary public servant and community leader of note whose ways of worth being emulated by all including the unborn generations, hence, the decision to document such a perfect example of gentleman and cheerful giver.

The popular broadcaster said, it will be a great loss if such personality life is not documented to serve as a guide for younger generations and others who desires to live a positive life.

Speaking specifically on the book, Akanni said, the book which was written in Yoruba contains five chapters with each dwelling on specifics of the topnotch educationist ranging from his family lineage, upbringing, career and people’s observation about him.

He enjoined all and sundry to get a copy of the book as the content and quality of the production is second to none.

Besides, the book launch will be held alongside the official installation of the heartthrob of the SUBEB boss, , Alhaja Mujidat Kolawole, who will be installed as Yeye Oluomo of Modakeke tomorrow by His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Oyediran, the Ogunsua of Modakekeland.

The Chieftaincy honour is in recognition of the many decades of the pragmatic businesswoman contributions to the development of Modakeke and its people without any discrimination whatsoever.

The event will be held at the expansive Modakeke Event Centre, Oke-Dio, along Ondo Road, Modakeke.
