The Government of Kwara State under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abdulrazaq AbdulRahman, has commenced a lot of community projects at various rural and urban areas in the state.
These locations are in Offa, Tsaragi (Edu Local Government), Kpada (Patigi Local Government), amongst others are currently witnessing massive road, drainage, and double-cell culvert constructions.
According to the commissioner for works, Hon. Rotimi Iliasu Sulaiman, the project in Tsaragi is aimed at enabling the people of the Community to enjoy ease in doing their businesses, which will in turn help in developing.
“Gradings have also been done around specific locations in Offa.
“The locations include Offa-Igbo Odun, Gaa Jango, Olalomi Secondary School Road, and Pan Africa Road. Prior to this time, these locations were in a very deplorable conditions but we are proud to say that gradings have been completed in these locations.
“We have completed the grading of 20KM out of the 25KM that is currently going on in Gada Woro/Patigi and Kusoti/Kpada road in Patigi LG. The youths in these communities have being engaged and fully involved in the construction work that’s currently going on.
“All unskilled labour were sourced withing the community while only few skilled labours were brought from outside the community to train some of the youths.
“As the commissioner for works under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abdulrazaq AbdulRahman, we are giving Kwarans the assurance that we will deliver on our promises.
“More construction works will be commencing in Ilorin very soon and the officials of the Kwara State Ministry of Works would be working round the clock to control traffic in the areas where the constructions would take place.
“There would be massive re-construction work on a lot of road networks in the state.”
