Federal Government has closed down a Chinese restaurant in Lagos, the Haufei Restaurant for denying Nigerians services.
According to a statement released by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, the action was taken against the restaurant after a citizen reported their activities on social media.
The statement which was shared on twitter reads ;
Today, FCCPC closed Haufei Restaurant & Mall 33 Aboyade Cole, VI based on credible intel & surveillance that the biz declines service to Nigerians. Staff of the biz admitted this is the policy & our operatives experienced same. Both now closed for further regulatory action.
