Dr. Ibrahim Olaleye an aspirant for
Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda federal constituency of Ogun State at the house of representatives under the platform of Accord Party has criticized Senator Ibikunle Amosun administration in the state saying the present government has not developed the for all and sundry.

Speaking with ALUKORO an online news platform correspondent in Abeokuta, the state capital, Olaleye lamented the poor state infrastructure, social amenities in the state which he described as being “quite expensive and stationed where they are not needed.”

He said, “the present administration is doing it best in term of infrastructure but my concerns are these infrastructures especially those bridges are quite expensive and most of these bridges were not ought to be built at where they are stationed.

“My concern is that we have done many bridges in certain areas but in some areas bridges are of no use because they were not needed at first.”

Olaleye bluntly said, “for example, if you look at the Ita-Eko pedestrian bridge, you can hardly see somebody on that bridge. I think all those money spent on those projects could have been well spent on constructing new roads and repairs those that needed urgent attention for better transportation which will definitely boost the state economy.”

When asked to rate the performance of the present administration, he said, ” I don’t think the government have done enough. We can see the high level of poverty in Ogun state and this is the area Accord party is trying to address to make sure we have social contract with Ogun citizens to promote the well being and welfare of the people in the state.”

The Owu-born politician called on Ogun citizens to support his political party for its seven cardinal programs are constructed to deliver dividends of democracy to all and sundry in the state if elected.
According to him, the programmes are; Accessible and Affordable education for all, qualitative health care services, agricultural survival, rural development, total industrialization and job creation, special policy program for youths and sports and affordable housing for all citizens.
