The Osun State Government has appointed the Head of Service of the state, Mr Festus Oyebade Olowogboyega as the acting Secretary to the State Government for the remainder of the outgoing administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Media Adviser to the Governor, Mr Sola Fasure.
Fasure said the decision was arrived at during the State Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday.
Olowogboyega replaced Senator Mudashiru Hussain who was recently appointed as State Commissioner for National Population Commission.
Aregbesola’s administration is expected to lapse on November 27th, with his former Chief of Staff and Governor-elect, Gboyega Oyetola taking oath of office same day.
