The Olowu of Kuta, HRM Oba Hameed Adekunle Oyelude Makama CON, added a touch of regality to Owu Kuta by conferring esteemed chieftaincy titles on two merited personalities.


The honored recipients were a Lagos Business Tycoon, Chief (Mrs) Abisola
Bamidele, as Erelu Borokoni, and a Senior Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF), Hon. Mike Msuaan, who now bears the title Akeweje of Kuta.


Dignitaries present included former army chief Lt Gen TY Buratai, who is also the Balogun Agba Owu Kuta, Oba Dokun Abolarin the Orangun of Oke-Ila led arrays of traditional rulers, among others that grace the colourful event, aligning with Owu Kuta’s vision for progress proclaimed in “Kuta tuntun,” the achievements and pedigree of the two eminent chiefs, Lady Bisbam and Hon. Mike Msuaan MON.

Lady Bisbam, who is an astute business woman of repute and cultural icon, was duly honored with the prestigious title of Erelu Borokini, while Hon. Mike Msuaan MON, a Benue-born detribalise Nigerian, received the well-deserved
distinguished title of Otunba Akeweje of the Owu Kuta kingdom.


The vibrant and culturally diverse ceremony drew the attention of notable figures such as Amb LT General TY Buratai rtd the Balogun agba of owu kingdom Kuta, Admiral Adamu Biu rtd and powerful delegations from the SGF office and the Government of Benue state.

Erelu Borokini’s recognition also garnered support from influential circles in Epe and
Lagos.


The occasion saw the presence of traditional rulers, led by the esteemed Kabiesi, The Orangun Oke Ila, and Oba Dokun Abolarin, alongside representatives from academia and cultural spheres.
