Osun 2018 Governorship Aspirant, Dr. Benedict Oluwagboyega Alabi on Wednesday empowered ten young individuals on PocketMoni e-transact business.
Dr. Alabi paid the start-up fee of the ten people after they have undergone training on the business inside the Osogbo city Hall, Olonkoro area, Osogbo on Wednesday.
The beneficiaries which comprise of two male and eight female, were selected across the three senatorial districts in the State and a total of sixty thousand was paid by Dr. Alabi.
Among the Local Government Areas benefited form this generosity are Odo-otin, Ifelodun, Boripe, Osogbo, Ilesha East and Ife North.
Others are Iwo, Oriade, Obokun and Olorunda Local Government areas.
According to his media aide, Hafeez S. Oyinmomo, the programme was done to help the young individuals who are passionate about entrepreneurship and to contribute his quota towards the development of individuals.
He said “Dr. Alabi is someone who believes in the talent, capability, vibrancy and brilliance of the youths in the state of Osun and he does everything possible to get them empowered. This has been demonstrated severally through his programmes.
Oyinmomo then urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the opportunity given to them and promised that Dr. Alabi will forever be in their service.
