First female president in Africa and President of Liberia, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf said she hopes that her status erected by the Imo state government, would inspire the girl child and women to reach their potentials.
She said this in Imo state during the unveiling of the status erected by the Rochas Okorocha-led Imo state government.
“I hope that this statue and the other honors I received today, would serve as a great aspiration to the young girls, to the women, to know that we can reach our potentials. We can achieve our dreams. We can stand tall among the many women of the world in providing the kind of exemplary leadership that will lift us up to stand, as I stand to represent women”.
