Former vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has expressed his optimism that he will defeat the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 election.
Atiku said President Buhari is now politically eak after squandering the goodwill Nigerians bestowed on him in the year 2015.
He said this in an interview granted to Dele Momodu adding that most of Buhari’s loyalists are now furious about the way he handles things in the country.
“I will definitely beat him this time. He has wasted a lot of his massive goodwill,”
“A lot of people are disgruntled but keeping quiet and lying low,” Mr. Abubakar said. “Our youths are suffering terribly and now they are being sold into slavery.”
“Everyone knows my track record of inviting and attracting a good team and giving them the opportunity to work professionally. Nigerians are tired of leaders who cannot think big and work big,” he added.
“Buhari is free to contest, I’m free to contest and Nigerians will make their choice”
