A University don and leading PDP governorship aspirant in Osun State, Prof. Adeolu Durotoye has extended his felicitations to Christians in Osun state urging them to embrace the virtues of humility, love, endurance and support for the less privileged exemplified by Jesus Christ.
Speaking from North America, where he has gone to discuss with Osun indigenes in diapora and solicit support for his candidature, the Osogbo-born politician cum administrator noted that “This season is a season of celebration and gratitude remembering the beauty of Christ’s birth and the essence of salvation.
While wishing everyone merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance, the professor of Political Science stated, “Let’s commit to making a difference, whether its lending support to our fellow human beings, or advancing reconciliation with those who have offended us” adding “I am more than resolved to serve the great people of Osun state as the governor from 2018 and beyond. I want to reassure the good people of Osun state that though weeping has endured for a night, joy cometh in the morning”.
He urged everyone 18 years and above to collect voter’s card to bring about the desired positive change come September 2018.
“What Osun people want is not just change but positive change”, he said.
