A front line governorship aspirant in the State of Osun, Barrister Kunle Rasheed Adegoke otherwise known as K-Rad, has felicitated with the South West Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and a Chieftain of Afenifere, Chief Ayo Afolabi, as he celebrates his 70th birthday.
In a statement released by his media office and personally signed by him this morning in Osogbo, K-Rad described Afolabi as an embodiment of selfless service to humanity, with an undiluted commitment to the progressive governance.
“As we are celebrating the 70th birthday of our leader brother; Chief Ayo Afolabi, I join numerous progressive politicians, party faithfuls and well wishers across the state and Country to celebrate a progressive politician to the core, an embodiment of selfless service and hardwork and an ardent believer of democratic principles and social justice” Adegoke said.
The Osogbo-born politician urged young politicians to always emulate the political virtues of the septugenarian for the betterment of the society and in deepening and sustaining democracy in Nigeria; saying that his likes are rare to come by with high level of endurance, commitment and less attachment to material things.
The leading Governorship hopeful then prayed God in His mercy to grant Chief Ayo Afolabi good health and sound mind so as to continue to contribute to the development of the State of Osun in particular, the growth of Yoruba race and the progress of the country in general.
