Dr. Oluranti Adekunle, a senatorial aspirant in Osun Central District has commended the efforts of the federal government and security agencies over the rescued of Dapchi schoolgirls.
This was contained in a release made available to journalists by his Media Office in Osogbo.
Dr Adekunle described the release of the Dapchi schoolgirls as another demonstration of the political will of President Muhammadu Buhari to save lives of Nigerians.
He said “ I am extremely joyful with the news of the return of the schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Science Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, by Boko Haram. With this prompt release of the Dapchi girls, its clearly shows how government should respond to such critical situations like this”
He added that government should ultimately rehabilitate and reunite the girls with their families and loved ones since they have gained their freedom from the captivity.
He also expressed is pleasure on the reforms that government had embarked on, which is aimed at improving the capacity and efficiency of security agencies to prevent the subsequent kidnap of children by terrorists and also diminish the ability of terrorist to carry out attacks on soft targets.
He pray that God should continue to protect and guard all Nigerians.
