The Wale Bolorunduro Foundation (WBF) which is led by the immediate past Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning in the State of Osun, Dr. Adewale Bolorunduro, in the spirit of the Easter Season, is set to donate farming inputs to over 1000 farmersin the agrarian communities across the 10 Local Governments of Osun East Senatorial District.
A statement issued by his Media Office in Ilesa on Monday, indicates that the exercise which is scheduled to go round all the Local Governments and Area Councils of Ife/Ijesa will kick off by 9am at the APC Party Secretariat, Ibokun in Obokun Local Government on Tuesday, 3rd April, 2018 and continue at Omo Olofa Hall, Ilare in Obokun East Area Council by 12Noon same day. Items to be distributed include Pesticides, Herbicides, Insecticides and other farming tools.
Dr. Wale Bolorunduro noted that “we are in an era when economic diversification into agriculture is non – negotiable; It is therefore important that there is an enabling environment to support our farmers accordingly for this to be achieved”.
While urging Farmers in the area to avail themselves of the opportunity, the former Finance Commissioner stressed that “the gesture is aimed at supporting farmers in the senatorial district towards having a productive farming season and food for all
