One of the leading aspirants under the aegis of All Progressives Congress (APC), Atayese Benedict Olugboyega Alabi is set to flag off his governorship ambition tomorrow at party secretariat.
In a statement released in Osogbo today by his Campaign office at Osun Ajose Foundation headquarters, Alabi said everything is set for tomorrow’s programme and the party chairman and the executives members of APC are ready to host him and his teeming fans alongside with well wishers tomorrow.
Atayese Benedict Olugboyega Alabi further said, “the hope for a new day is here and with the support of millions of Osun people, inside and outside the country, we can begin today a systematic restructuring, makeover and a revolution to transform our state economically, politically, socially and morally. If elected by my party and voted in by the people in the state of Osun, we will all continue reengineering our dear state in complementing the good work of our dear governor”.
The statement further added that, “I am asking for the support of members of our great party, the APC, as this is the time for all hands to be on deck. Let all civil servants and teachers, traders, students, market men and women, artisans, motor owners, drivers, okada operators, come together to stabilize the politics and economy of our dear state. Let us come together and ensure that our children and grandchildren are adequately provided for, so that very soon, they will be able to afford quality life, quality education, good health, prosperity, security and joy”.
“Let us together stabilize and continue government that will again fight for economic and social justice, as well as provide social and economic infrastructure for all.
“The struggle for all these starts with the primary election. I assure you, God being on my side that I will not disappoint you,” he concluded.
