Dr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi, a governorship aspirant under the aegis of All Progressives Congress congratulates and felicitates with all Muslim faithfuls across the state on the successful completion of the Holy month of Ramadan and urges them to use this period to pray for our Nation, especially the state of Osun to overcome the myriad of challenges facing her.
He charged Muslim faithfuls to sustain the virtues of Ramadan by maintaining the love, togetherness and peaceful coexistence that characterised the Holy month.
The governorship aspirant also enjoined Muslim faithfuls to see Eid-l-fitri celebration as a season of sober reflection, noting that they must continue to submit themselves totally to the creed of Allah as displayed during the month of Ramadan.
Being good Muslims requires that we follow the examples of Prophet Muhammad who was always quick to forgive those that transgressed against him and lived a life of building common understanding among the people, Alabi concluded.
