Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Hon Lasun Yussuff has officially declared to vie for governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Osun State gubernatorial election.
Lasun said this at the State secretariat where he was received by the state party hierarchy and thousands of his supporters and loyalists.
He told the party faithfuls that he remains the most competent aspirant among others vying for the ticket of his party and that nobody can claim to be more loyal to the party than him.
“Am the most qualify among other aspirants and nobody can claim to be APC more than me in Osun state.
He reiterated his Home-based agenda by saying, “we that are here have no other abode. We were born here, our families are here, we have business here and it’s our responsibilities to develop this state”.
He promised to build on Aregbesola’s legacies in human capital and education development.
“My programme for the people of Osun State are women and youths empowerment, education, science and technology and agricultural revolution”, he said.
