A gubernatorial aspirant, Mr Babatunde Adedotun Taiwo on Thursday matched to the party secretariat of the All Progressive Congress Ogo Oluwa, with his teeming supporters to launch the governorship campaign for the September 22, 2018 election.
According to him “Election is a referendum on the performance of the incumbent government and decision whether to retain it or vote it out”
He launched the campaign by lifting the good spirit of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola as a great, ambitious and visionary leader and a symbol of courage, pride with undying consciousness to lay a good foundation and legacy upon which should be built on.
Speaking on his agenda for the state, he signalled the start of a new Era called “IGBA OTUN” with “new engagement, new dreams nurtured by the essential of inner consciousness with the quest and right to serve determination, where there is equality and liberty of self expression, and to make the state of Osun self-sufficient as its priority”.
He symboled Ogbeni as the emblem of the All Progressive Congress in Osun State which is the biblical for the New Era.
Taiwo presented a proposal of his vison for area of concentration to the people for a better governance. He presented the extract blue print to Mr Gboyega famodun, the party chairman if given the opportunity to serve as mantle of leadership and the executive governor of Osun State on November 26, 2018.
He appreciated the work and effort of the state party secretariat and presented an IPad Tablet to the office of the chairman, secretary and public to enhance and promote their work.
The legitimate son of apomu (as he refered to himself) in Isokan local government, asked people to join hands together, keep faith with him and vote for him to move Osun State to an enviable level of greatness that it deserves.
