A great task before the new APC national chairman comrade Adams Oshiomhole is to deliver Osun state for APC during September 22 gubernatorial election in the state
The presidency and the national body of the party has giving a stern warning. Opposition party must never be allowed to take over the progressive state.
But in the state, the electorate, comprising of market women/men, artisans, civil servants, students and religion bodies are all saying this particular election coming up on September 22/18 is not about party, but personality they had vowed to vote for credible candidate and not party
The masses voice a key factor in election victory, this has been demonstrated in the last senatorial bye election held in the west senatorial district of the state where our great party APC was defeated mercilessly by PDP.
That election was not won by the power of the PDP neither was it won by their popularity in fact during that period, their house was not in order but they stole the precious jewel thrown away by the APC and with the sympathy of the masses they won the senatorial seat
The masses are crying again in the state they are saying give us Lasun Yussuf whom we have known for years he is part of us and has demonstrated he is fit, competent and able to govern osun. We have seen how he has used his position as the deputy speaker of the federal republic of Nigeria to transformed his federal constituency to a better living .
The PDP are again in a corner monitoring the activities of the APC but if Lasun Yussuf emerged as APC governorship’s aspirant come July 19/18 their house would be thrown into confusion and they are bound to break. Their prayer is for APC to present a wrong candidate.
This is a litmus test for the new APC national chairman comrade Adams Oshiomole but it is obvious the old comrade has never been a failure,
I prayed the Lord guides him right.
