Today Engr Dr Taofeek Olayinka Ayinde OLOKOOBI (JP) made his official declaration as a governorship aspirant for the State of Osun under the platform of The All Progressives Congress APC.
The flag up campaign which started from the Palace of the Oluwo of Iwo Kingdom Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi Adewale Telu 1, His Imperial Majesty during the visit spoke at length of how the Iwo born politician has helped and assisted a lot of youths within and outside Iwoland to achieve their dreams of becoming a better person, the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland also offered his royal prayers and advice to the aspirant, from there Engr Ayinde and his teaming supporters moved straight to the party secretariat in Oshogbo.
In Oshogbo, Engr Olayinka Ayinde rolled out his mission, vision and objectives for the State which he tagged as The Restoration, Renewal and Redemption RRR Agenda, that is aimed at bringing into reality the mission and vision that would guard and lead Osun ahead and as a model state to other states of the country.
He also unveiled to the Party faithfuls his governance model that shall be based on “Deals to be Rendered through Life for measurable growth, Energy for sustainable development and Empathy for progress a model from which his teaming supporters derived the name DR LEE that he’s been called.
Notably in his speech was his MMM program which he said is going to be used to manage the economy of the State by Minimizing risk, Minimizing cost and Maximizing Values/benefits on, of and for every activities, by individuals and companies operative within and beyond the State of Osun.
Engr Dr Taofeek Olayinka Ayinde also stated that the attention of the government under his watch would focus more on sustaining all developments met on ground including those from the past governments and those not sustainable are to be made sustainable to improve the economy of the State.
He therefore promised that if elected the Governor of Osun State he’s going to bring a lot of National/International Integration programmes that will dutifully engage all adults, skillfully engage the youth and communally engage every communities.
In response to the speech of the gubernatorial aspirant, the Chairman of the Party Prince ‘GBOYEGA Famodun said he congratulates Engr Ayinde, that having heard from him ,he(Prince Famodun) believes everyone present would surely agree with him that AYINDE OLOKOOBI has come prepared for the race and position, we have seen many faces but the face OLOKOOBI brings is a different one towards making us a better people in a better State.
The Party Chairman also emphasized on how God has blessed the State of Osun with a talent like that of Engr Dr Taofeek Olayinka Ayinde OLOKOOBI who is equally one of the fewest young Aspirants of the Party.
Finally, the Chairman promised all Aspirants a level plane ground during the primary election even as he wished Engr Ayinde the best in his pursuit to become the next Executive Governor of the State of Osun.
