The atmosphere in the University of Ilorin has remained tense and moody since Wednesday when it was noticed that a student of the department of educational technology, Aisha Yetunde Kuranga was missing.
Miss Kuranga who is 200L was last seen on Tuesday around the popular female hostel, Lagos hotel at about 5pm.
According to the public relations Officer of the students’ union, Muftau Oyewumi, Kuranga’s whereabouts has remained a mystery since Tuesday.
He debunked a message circulating on social media that she has been found at Lafenwa, Ogun State, tagging it a “lie”.
Also, a friend of the girl who doesn’t want her name in prints revealed to InsightMedia that Miss Kuranga was in the hostel after her exam on Tuesday but she left the hostel immediately.
She said, “we saw her in the hostel after her exam on Tuesday. But she left not quite long. We thought she was going to the class area or home, but her number has not been going through since then.
