Dr Taofeeq Olayinka Ayinde, a former governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress has congratulated Alh Gboyega Oyetola and his running mate, Benedict Alabi over the success in the recently conducted poll.
Describing the success as a New Dawn, the academician commended the Osun electorates for making a rightful decision of electing Oyetola.
He urged the Governor-elect to justify the confidence and belief of the electorates by ensuring that the real dividends of democracy is delivered to them.
He said, “Mr Governor-elect sir, I believe you have the required knowledge, wisdom, experience and administrative acumen required to pilot the affairs of our from where Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola will stop come November 2018 to a greater height.
“The people of Osun has elected you to be governor for all and we look forward to have a better governance under you.”
Ayinde also applauded members of the APC for being calm during the uncertainty periods.
