The Osun State House of Assembly Aspirant for Irepodun/Orolu constituency, Prince Olayinka Teslim Adeboye has called on every stakeholders in the Re run election slated for Thursday in Orolu local government area to put the interest of the community at heart and maintain peace during and after the poll.
Prince Whykay as fondly called stated this in Ilobu on Wednesday in a statement issued by the Media Director of his campaign team, Mr Ismahil Tiamiyu.
He emphatically stressed that the people of the three communities that constitute Irepodun/Orolu state constituency are peace lovers who will never because of any clash of political interests unleash violence on one another.
He thereby warned the two political parties participating in the election to toe paths of honour by allowing the people to decide who they want as their governor noting that there must be Peace in the polling units.
He said, “As the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party go head-to-head tomorrow in the Re run poll in Orolu LG, I call on every stakeholder in the contest to remain peaceful during and after the poll.
“No one needs to be told that the people of the three communities that constitute Irepodun/Orolu state constituency are peace lovers who will prioritise peace ahead of any other gain.
“I hereby urge members of the two parties to toe the paths of honour and allow the people to decide who they want as their governor without intimidation, harassment or violence.
