As the 2019 elections draw nearer, the hot exchanges between the camps of President Muhammadu Buhari and that of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is showing no sign of a slow down, as the Media Adviser to Atiku, Paul Ibe has said President Buhari should have been executed long ago.
Ibe stated this on his Twitter handle in response to a long statement from Keyamo, in which he said the former vice-president, who is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election, should have been jailed before 2015 if the nation’s system of government was working well.
Ibe, while responding tweeted: ”Festus Keyamo should be careful what he brings on himself and APC campaign. If Nigeria had a working system, Muhammadu Buhari should have been executed for overthrowing a democratically elected government in 1983.”
