He said, “If we look at the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, you will see that the main opposition is from the National Assembly. The leadership of the National Assembly has become impediments and clog against the progress of the APC-led federal government.

“This is the reason we have to look inwards and support thoroughly bred progressives like Bokula Oyewo to represent us at the lower chamber of the National Assembly while Ajibola Basiru will represent Osun Central at the Senate.

“More so, we all know what we went trough to deliver Alh Gboyega Oyetola as our governor, so we need people like Nasirudeen Olateju who has been with the progressive fold since 1999 to represent our state constituency”.

He urged them to remain steadfast and his confidence in APC candidates remains 100%.

In his speech, one of the prominent leaders of the party in Orolu LG, Alh Kilani Orisawale appealed to all aggrieved party members in the three communities and urged to sheath their swords and work towards the victory of the party.

He added that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party cannot match the strength and pace of the APC in any level of the party (APC) is united.

“PDP is finished and has nothing that can match the strength of our party, if we’re united. What PDP does is to share money without recourse to any developmental agenda.

“We provide quality education that will better the futures of our children. The PDP doesn’t do that. They want to continue mortgaging our future and impoverish the coming generations”, he said.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Irepodun South LCDA, Hon Adekunle Oloyede J. K. assured the candidates of 90% of the total votes as he boast that the APC has presented the best candidates for all the constituencies across the states.

The council boss wished the candidates success in the poll and urged the people of the state to continue supporting the APC at all levels.

“As a progressive, I can say that we have the best in Bokula Oyewo, Nasirudeen Olateju and Ajibola Basiru as our candidates. Even in all other constituencies across the state, we have the best set of people.

“I wish all of them victories in the poll as I call on all party faithfuls and supporters to troop out en mass to vote for the APC in all elections.” he said.
