Excitement, jubilation and fulfillment are what describe the moods of the people of Ologele, Oloso, Molufon, Abebi and other rural communities in Orolu local government on Monday as the local government flagged off the grading of their roads.

The chairman of the council, Hon Adekunle Benson and the candidate of All Progressives Congress for Irepodun/Olorunda/Osogbo/Orolu Federal Constituency in the forthcoming election, Hon Bukola Oyewo led the other officials of the councils, party leaders and faithfuls to the flag off ceremony held at the Ologele axis of the road where the work commenced.

Visibly happy people of the communities trooped out en mass to welcome the council executives and party stalwarts.

Speaking at the event, the council boss, Prince Benson revealed that the project has been in the blueprint of his administration rights from his first day in office but paucity of funds hindered its execution.

He therefore commended the state governor, Alh Gboyega Oyetola who according to him mandated all the local governments and LCDAs to immediately commence the grading of all the road networks in the rural areas and subsequently releases the funds for them.

He said the road will be in two phases with the first one moving from Ologele enroute Abebi to Molufon and Wale villages. While the other phase will start from Sawmill at Janta to Idi-Iroko linking Wale to Abebi and Oloso.

He also added that the other project which is water project will commence next week.

He urged the the people to support the candidates of the APC in all elections adding that only their votes for APC that can guarantee more dividends of democracy for them.

In his speech, the APC candidates, Bukola Oyewo thank God for giving the state a credible successor to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in person of Mr Gboyega Oyetola who has keyed into the development agenda of his predecessor.

He assured the people of the communities of his intervention when elected as the member of House of Representatives come February 16th.

In his address, a leader of the APC in Orolu, Alh Kilani Orisawale commended the council executive and urged the beneficiaries to reciprocate the kind gesture by voting the APC candidates in the forthcoming polls.

Mr Muftau Opafemi, one of the residents of Ologele who spoke on behalf of his people showered praises on the leadership of the Orolu and the state government of Osun, and assured them of unalloyed loyalty in the coming elections.
