Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state has fingered some politicians in and outside his state of working overtime to create misunderstandings between him and President Muhammadu Buhari.
Amosun said effort to turn the president against him will be unfruitful and warned politicians to desist from such manipulations.
The Punch reports that the governor made this statement at Kajola ward in Obafemi Owode local council in continuation of his campaign to win the Ogun Central Senatorial poll.
He said: “All that they are doing is to turn President Buhari against me. Nobody can turn him against me. It is impossible.”
The governor also claimed that some people were trying to disrupt the peace in the state. He urged his people to kick against such attempts.
“Where were they before this time, it is now that the state is fast developing that they want to disrupt its peace. Resist them, don’t allow anybody to enslave you,” he said.
